On the Tunisian executive’s agenda are several projects such as the development of an electric plant in Susa and in Qalaat al-Andalus and projects in the solar and wind power energy sectors. The government aims to develop the production of solar energy and connect it to the national electricity network which will be subsequently joined to the European network via a submarine cable going from Tunisia to Sicily (Italy).
