The UNIDO representative in Egypt reported that this agency and the Minister of Industry will work from the beginning of next year to support Egyptian energy through a comprehensive strategy for the future of energy in Egypt, the diversification of energy sources and the adoption of renewable energy. Renewable energy projects in Egypt have become a crucial issue at this time. The country has very limited conventional sources of energy and not only needs to rationalize consumption, but also to exploit its renewable potential for industrial and economic development. The main obstacle to the implantation of these energies in general throughout the world are no longer the costs but public trends , so policies must be established and packages of measures designed to help attract investments to these types of projects .
